About

Meet The Paperist.

I began making handmade cards in 2004, entirely for personal use to give to friends and family. But as my personal style developed, I began to think about opening a shop. Then in 2013, when working on a shower and wedding for my niece, I decided to make the dream a reality, and I opened The Paperist as an Etsy shop.

Now I make garlands, gift tags, and paper flowers in addition to my handmade cards. My designs are modern, clean-and-simple expressions of everyday inspirations. Most of my materials are new, but I also use repurposed and up cycled items on occasion.

My gift tags and cards have lots of special details, like stitching, sparkle, and texture. When you hold one in your hand, you'll appreciate all the work that went into the piece. Your card or gift recipient will appreciate it, too, and probably hang onto it, maybe even pop it in a frame and hang it on the wall.

My garlands and flowers make a great accent for seasonal home decor, and they are sturdy enough to last for years.

Hi, I'm Sherida. I make stuff out of paper, and scissors and glue and ink. I've been crafting since I met my first crayon. I like clean and simple modern designs, but with a timeless feel.
