About

Exploring...Creating. With Love, From Africa!

{AFRO} :: of or relating to Africa |||||||| {PHILE} :: lover of

After moving to Ghana in 2013 with my Ghanaian-American husband and child to explore life out of our comfort zones, I quickly fell head over heels with the region's textiles, crafts, and traditions. An African-American myself, the continent's rich and diverse cultural heritage and it's creative manifestations re-awakened a personal creativity and appreciation for art that had long lay dormant.

Our team spends the days learning, exploring, creating, troubleshooting, and refining. We aim to capture what's fun, sophisticated, and authentic, while embracing modernity and functionality.

We want to inject a little afrochic into your environment, your world. One throw pillow, journal, table runner at a time.

With love, from Africa!
