I do not give refunds for items that have been misplaced, delayed, or lost by the US Postal Service. What happens after I ship your order is out of my control. Please use the Priority Shipping option to insure your item.
Payment
Please note: All buyers who are Indiana residents will be required to pay state sales tax. Etsy will automatically add that cost to your final purchase price when you buy your item.
IMPORTANT: I'm sorry, but I do not ship internationally due to issues I have had with custom's fees and restrictions and inability to track packages.
Shipping
I ship via USPS First Class Mail. Automatic tracking is included in the shipping costs. You will receive your tracking number with your shipping confirmation. Please follow the tracking information provided, as the Post Office will confirm the delivery of your package. If you have not received the package once it has been confirmed as delivered, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO FILE A CLAIM WITH THE USPS and notify Alphabet Cottage Designs within 3 days. Your package is only insured if you choose the Priority Shipping Option.
DUE TO RECENT DIFFICULTIES WITH THE US POSTAL SERVICE (LENGTHY DELIVERY TIME), I NOW OFFER PRIORITY SHIPPING. PLEASE SELECT IT FROM THE DROP-DOWN BOX AT CHECKOUT IF YOU WOULD LIKE THIS UPGRADE. PRIORITY SHIPPING INCLUDES INSURANCE.

All of our copper and brass will darken to a rich patina over time.
Sterling silver can be polished with a silver polishing cloth or with 0000 grit steel wool.
Please remember that all of my jewelry is hand stamped, not machine engraved, therefore some slight variations will occur in letter spacing and placement. This is what adds to the unique charm of each piece.
