The piece is well made and is a perfect, cute addition to a narrow strip of wall I have in my home office next to a sliding door. Thread, nails, a cross-country move, and a seed...
I have always enjoyed making crafts...from the days of friendship bracelets and bead ornaments to theater classes in college to decorating my post-grad apartment and beyond. After a cross country move in 2017, I found myself looking for a way to incorporate my love of travel and of all the places I've lived with my love of crafting. I had recently discovered that I really enjoy making string art pieces, and thus the seed for The Anchor & Bird was planted. Whether you're a military family, you move or travel often, or you have a lot of places (and pets and people!) that you love, I hope my shop will help you find something that represents your little piece of the world!
