First conceived of in West Philadelphia in 2010 and now located in Harrisburg Pennsylvania, Fennec is the collective effort of Joelle Workman and Justin Arawjo: partners in life and craft. When they met Justin had already been screen printing for almost a decade, and Joelle was looking for a new way to reproduce her drawings. The two joined forces and quickly began releasing clothing and accessories featuring their unique brand of collaborative artwork. Fennec's pieces often feature natural, geometric, and symmetrical elements and pull from such vast influences as medical illustration, mythology, alchemical etchings and paintings, sacred geometry, and the darker side of Art Nouveau (Clarke and Beardsley) while simultaneously drawing on a nostalgic love and shared interest in punk music. The duo personally hand pulls all screen printed items in their studio with a specific focus on environmentally friendly non-toxic inks and sweatshop free apparel.

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders
We offer custom changes in orders only if buyers contact us prior to ordering. We can sometimes, but not always, offer color variations or alternate apparel and items for printing. The size of a design cannot be be changed due to the nature of the screen printing process. There may be an additional cost for these special items depending on extra work involved. In the case of special orders it is especially important to check size charts, as we cannot provide exchanges or returns on custom made items.
We provide size charts for our items as the final photo on each listing, but encourage customers to reach out if they are uncertain about the methods of measurement or need any assistance. Size charts indicate measurements of the item lying flat on the ground, rather than measurement of the circumference on the body. We encourage customers to consider fiber content and desired fit when making sizing decisions, and to ask questions if they are feeling uncertain.
Care instructions differ from item to item, and can be found on the garment's tag. We encourage customers to allow for the possibility of minor shrinkage on cotton items, and to avoid washing or drying on high heat for increased longevity of the clothing item. Screen printed items are heat set and machine washable but customers should avoid ironing directly on a print, opting instead to inside-out the garment prior to pressing.

Environmental and ethical responsibility
Screen printed items are hand pulled and use environmentally friendly non-toxic inks. All apparel items are sweatshop free and many are fair trade, organic options are available upon request. Orders are shipped in packaging made from recycled materials.
Custom and personalized orders
We use USPS to ship both domestic and international orders. Customers will receive a tracking number at the time that their order ships so that it's progress can be followed. International buyers will be responsible for customs fees and should plan ahead for the additional cost. Shipment time varies depending on your country and location but if there seems to be an issue with delivery of your order pleases contact us with any questions or concerns. Large orders placed within the United States will be given free signature confirmation and insurance at our discretion depending on the size of the order.

Exchanges and returns
Figuring out sizing online can be difficult and we are happy to accept exchanges or returns of unworn, unwashed, like new items within 30 days of receipt. Exceptions include custom printed items and intimate apparel. We do however stress the importance of checking your measurements against the size charts provided before you order, as you will be required to pay for shipment on exchanges. Contact us for additional instructions should you need to process an exchange or return.
Problem with your order
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your order please let us know prior to leaving a review. We will walk you through the return or exchange process. Your satisfaction is our biggest priority and we will work with you to honor all reasonable requests.
In order to insure that you receive speedy communication from us, we request that you contact us via the etsy messaging system rather than email. This allows for a thorough documentation of our conversations both for your protection and ours.
In the case of damaged items, please be prepared to provide a photograph upon request.
