Outstanding item! Beautiful beads and lovely composition. Very lightweight, and since they are all one piece, there is no annoying clinking together. Very comfortable to wear. Will definitely buy from this shop again!! Thanks, Kim!!

About

Using various supplies that catch my eye I create a wide variety of bright, colorful, fun and eclectic items.

I have been creating as long as I can remember. When I was five I hand stitched a quilt for my brother using the fabrics from my mother's rag bin - including the toilet seat cover! I continued to create whenever the opportunity and inspiration struck.

In sixth grade my art teacher told my parents to buy me whatever art supplies I asked for because I wouldn't waste them. My parents listened.

I went to the University of Wisconsin, Madison and got a degree in Civil Engineering. I worked in the field for a few years until I realized I wanted to see my children grow up. Soon after that realization I 'retired' and became a SAHM. Although children are a lot of work - it did free up my creating time a bit and I started to really work at what I love - making things that make people smile.

Just five days after my second daughter was born I decided to open my etsy shop. It was definitely slow going at first but I decided to really try to make a go of it. Now - things are moving along nicely. I sell my items on etsy, at my apple orchard in the fall, and at various craft shows in my area. My kids are getting bigger and I can see their love for creating blooming and I can't wait to see how it progresses!

When I was 20 I met my birth mother and discovered that creating is in my blood. You can read our story here: http://www.etsy.com/storque/handmade-life/etsy-loves-moms-a-daughter-mother-reunion-7954/

I sell my quilts and fiber arts at my other etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/PersimonDreams

I have been creating things for as long as I remember. When I was six, I sewed my brother a 'quilt' using my mom's rags...including a furry toilet seat cover. Of course, he love it! I love to sew, bead and make things you wouldn't expect out of everyday item. I have a degree in engineering because I thought solving problems was fun. One time, my roommate and I needed a whisk to make some pudding...the fork just wasnt' making it fluffy enough. I used some random green wire I just happened to have, chopsticks and some electrical tape...we used it for years to come. That's just one example of a random creation of mine. Hopefully once I have some more time to make all the ideas that are floating around in my head, my shop will reflect my crazy/craftiness. I do try to make a mixture of 'standard' items along with some more unique things that the right person has to come along and fall in love with. I hope you enjoy my shop!

Payment
I accept Paypal, checks, and money orders for payment. Keep in mind that orders don't get shipped until payment clears.

If you live in Wisconsin, a 5.5% sales tax will be charged when you complete your payPal transaction.
Shipping
I offer free shipping in the continental US for orders that total over $100.

I ship on Mondays and Thursdays using USPS. If you would like insurance or confirmation please contact me before paying for the item so I can add it to your shipping cost. I cannot be held responsible for uninsured packages that are lost or damaged during shipping. If I significantly overestimate the shipping cost I will refund you the difference. I try to choose the cheapest method once I get to the post office, so you may luck out :)

If you need something right away, please convo me and we'll figure it out.

I do not ship to post office post boxes.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: I am more than happy to ship internationally. If an item does not have an international shipping option, just convo me and I'll figure out the price for you!
Refunds and Exchanges
If you don't like something, just return it within 10 days of receiving it. I'm happy to exchange, resize, or refund. Please contact me first before mailing the return. The refund will be issued once I have received the item. Everything I make should be fine for ordinary every day wear, but if you're like me, and occasionally slam a bracelet in a car door, or the dog snags it, just let me know. I'll be happy to repair just about anything (it helps if you salvage as many as the beads as possible since I generally don't make any two items the same).
Additional policies and FAQs
All items are made in a pet and smoke free environment. If someone is interested in a custom order or wholesale options please feel free to convo me.

Thanks and have a wonderful day!
