Gothic, Steampunk, Fantasy and Neo-Victorian handmade jewellery by Alexandra Howard of The Arkana Workshop.

Welcome to my Etsy shop, filled with a diverse and ever-changing array of Steampunk, Gothic, Fantasy and Neo-Victorian pieces I have designed and created. Polymer clay is my core medium but as a mixed media artist I love to add metal, found objects, antique and vintage curios and detailed colour via paint, metal powders and ink to make my ideas come to life.

My current focus is on brooches, pendants, bookmarks, and charm bracelets. This changes from time to time so stop by when you are visiting Etsy to see what is on display.

A link to my facebook is posted below. Like my page to see new artwork as it is completed and to discuss current pieces. I love to chat about what I'm doing and share work in progress pictures

About

Doing what I love.

To do what you love for a living is something most people dream of, and as my babies grew, time was something I had a little more of. Since making the move to develop one of my crafts into a living I have never looked back.

Several years on and with the support of my family and the many wonderful customers who visit, The Arkana Workshop is filled with a diverse range of Steampunk, Gothic and Neo-Victorian pieces I design and create. Polymer clay is my core medium but as a mixed media artist I love to incorporate and hand-paint metal, found objects and antique elements to make my ideas come to life.

Inspired by hundreds of years of artists' work before me and the beautiful nature I see around me in rural Amersham I constantly experiment and learn, discovering new methods and materials as I go. Heavy metal, science fact and fiction, history, fantasy, myth and literature further influence my work.

A link to my facebook is posted below. Please come and like my page to see new artwork - I love to talk about what I'm working on. I keep pinterest boards themed like galleries for you to view my jewellery past and present and a twitter page to announce new listings. Links for both of these are also below:
