5 out of 5 starsMy Mother wears glasses and is getting ready for a cosplay, and she loves it! Works great with her glasses!

5 out of 5 starsI ordered several samples of Jesse's leather fortune cookie, and she shipped them straight away (despite it being the holidays). I'm looking to do a corporate promotion with (many of) these, and hers are by far the most "authentic" and colorful. And...I'm not sure how she does it...but the leather has a bit of a hardened finish--which gives the cookie the form it needs. Well done!
About
Patient craftsmanship. Rapid fabrication.
Chainmail has been my longest-running crafting obsession. One year in college I made a chainmail dragon tail for Halloween. Someone online asked me how much I would sell it to them for. Thus was born my online crafting business, which slowly grew from custom commissions to a stock of products showcased here.
While studying architecture, I first became acquainted with rapid fabrication technologies such as laser cutters. As computer-controlled machines, they can quickly produce high-quality pieces with incredible detail, allowing for designs which would be completely impractical to create by hand. After school I worked at a laser-cutting workshop, doing custom fabrication for clients and creating my own designs, developing expertise with the technology and methods.
What has always intrigued me has been the intersection space between the technology and the craft, a space that I felt few people were exploring. I was drawn to leather as a material that allows for wide variation in figuration in two and three dimensions. With traditional techniques, the ultimate limitation is the craftsman's ability to cut and assemble a design accurately. But by incorporating technology into the process, I can design far more complex pieces and produce them with greater speed and reliability than hand labor alone could ever accomplish.
