4 out of 5 starsI received this beautiful dress today. I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't in the pristine condition as described. In fact the lining is greatly torn in both arms and one spot needs to be sewn up on the outside. Two inner buttons are missing and two buttons had been reattached with different coloured thread. This dress was worn for sure and is not exactly in the condition it was described.

About TheAshleyUrban
:: Sumptuous vintage goods and art created and curated by yours truly ::
By combining my long term love affair of collecting vintage treasures, and creating odd yet fascinating artwork, I present to you a shop of all things fabulous.
The idea of a vintage garments is so romantic. I love to try and imagine the stories of the women who have owned these pieces throughout the decades. What happened to these women while these items were being worn? Utter joy? Tragedy? Victory? Love at first sight? What world history have these clothes witnessed? What corners of the earth have they traveled to? How did they all eventually end up in my arms? What a journey they've all lived! I am positively fascinated by the stories that these lovely items could tell. It is my mission to breathe new life into each item I sell and continue their incredible stories. What tales will you add to the life of your new vintage treasure?

Additional policies and FAQs
::Vintage garments were often tailored to fit an individual woman and evidence of seams and darts being taken in or out is not uncommon. For this reason, it is often possible to have a vintage garment altered to fit you if your measurements are off by just a bit::
::Sizing::
BUST: measure over the fullest part of your bust while wearing a bra.
WAIST: measure around the smallest point of your waist where it naturally curves in.
HIPS: measure around the fullest part of your hips. This is usually about 8"-9" below your waist.
SHOULDER TO WAIST: Measure from the top of your shoulder, where a normal shoulder seam would lie, down the front, following the curve of your bust.
LENGTH: measure from the top of your shoulder, where a normal shoulder seam would lie, down the front, to the point you want the garment to end at the hem.
::It is easiest to measure a well fitting garment that you already own, rather than measuring your body.
