I cancelled this sale but have bought items from this shop many times before and its highly recommended, she has lovely vintage items. Seller was friendly to place on HOLD for a while and happy to cancel the order. Pleasant seller to deal with.

About

Creating and discovering lifts my spirits.

Growing up, my family owned an auction house and an estate sale business, which cultivated in me an appreciation for antiques and collectibles. The provenance that lies beneath the surface of so many cast aside objects is fascinating to me. The enchantment that glitters in a 1920’s marcasite brooch and the haunting solitude of an old skeleton key are a couple of the things that inspire me to create. Also, I summer on a small island off the coast of Maine and have been collecting sea glass since childhood; along with my mother, grandmother and my children. A stroll along a shoreline with an empty mind and a focus on finding small bits of beauty is my meditation: it gives me peace. Sea glass comes from 19th century bottle dumps that lie under the sea off of most harbor shorelines. The tide tumbles the glass for decades until the pieces wash up on the shore in beautiful, colorful and smooth shapes. I use the pieces in jewelry making and in mosaic work. My current work includes designing for celebrities, brides and wholesale retailers. My vintage assemblage jewelry has been featured in NH Magazine. It is my hope that one of my creations will catch your eye and strike a chord of joy or sentiment within you.

I am a Mom/Artist/Teacher/Collector. I find gratitude and inspiration from objects that carry an interesting history. Sea glass, old keys, shells, costume jewelry, driftwood and antique photos are a few of the things I collect and create with.
