Hello & welcome! I'm Natasha Newton, a painter, illustrator and published artist from the UK. My work has been featured in Swedish magazines Elle Decoration and Family Living, UK magazines Homes & Gardens, Ideal Home, and Resurgence & Ecologist, the Dutch magazine Flow, and Danish magazine Hendes Verden. You can also find my work in the books Just Add Watercolour, Rock Art, and 365 Nature.

I sell a selection of my artwork through this shop including nature-inspired contemporary watercolour paintings and illustrations, original landscape and bird paintings on canvas, signed archival art prints, and my painted stone collections - these frequently sell out, so if you don't see any in the shop please contact me!

I accept commissions and custom orders, and I also offer a payment plan if you'd like to reserve a painting and pay in weekly or monthly instalments.

Follow me on Instagram to see new work as it's created in my studio at @natashanewtonart and also @paintingmountains, my project for 2017.

I'm really enjoying painting these hand lettered stones...so I've decided to make a whole alphabet of them! I'm selling these as the entire collection, but the lettered stones will also be available individually soon, and I'm taking custom orders too!
If a gorgeous shade of midnight blue is your thing, you'll find many new pieces in the shop at the moment from mountains to star charts! I added these three small original watercolour paintings today.
These two paintings are both now available as 8x10" /20x25cm signed art prints, thanks to a request from a buyer! (They're also available in 8x8" format). I'm grateful to her for the suggestion as I think they work really well like this! sparkles

About

Natasha Newton Art & Illustration

I'm a full-time artist and illustrator, living and working in Suffolk on the east coast of England and in the beautiful countryside of Surrey, where I'm in the process of setting up my new studio. I gain ideas and inspiration for my work during my regular walks along the beach, and through the heathlands, fields and forests. Spending time outside in nature is very important to me, and my love of the countryside is apparent in all my paintings, whether it's a vast winter landscape with a sky full of stars, or a bird singing a beautiful song. I'm often told that my paintings evoke a sense of calm and have a peaceful, simple beauty.

If you'd like to find out more about my work, check out the links to my website, blog and social media. Thanks for visiting and please feel free to contact me - I'd love to hear from you!

Frequently asked questions

Where can I view more of your work?

You can find links to my website, blog, and social media underneath my 'about' section, or just type natashanewton.com into your browser.

Where can I find out about new work?

I tend to post new work and works-in-progress on my Instagram account @natashanewtonart. Keep an eye on my website, blog, and Facebook page, or just visit the shop itself as I add new work on a regular basis! You can also sign up to my mailing list via my website to receive occasional art updates and exclusive offers.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, I ship everything with great care from my studio in the UK and I'm happy to send items anywhere in the world!

Can I reserve an item or pay in instalments?

I can reserve pieces for a short while, so if you'd like to reserve a painting please contact me for details. You can also choose to pay for more expensive pieces in weekly or monthly instalments if you wish.

How soon will you send my order?

All orders will be sent within 3-5 business days from the date of purchase, sometimes sooner. If you're in a particular hurry, please let me know and I'll try to send your order as soon as possible. You will receive a shipping notification to let you know when your package is on its way.

What do I do if my item doesn't arrive, or arrives damaged?

In the unlikely event that there is a problem with your order (damaged in transit, missing parcel etc.) please contact me as soon as possible and I will do my best to deal with the situation quickly, either by issuing a refund or exchange. I package everything very carefully to ensure it arrives safely and in perfect condition, but in very rare cases accidents sometimes happen! I've sent thousands of packages over the past few years, and have had just one or two incidents of damaged items or orders not arriving, so I hope this eases any concerns you may have!

Do you accept wholesale orders?

I do - mainly for the prints and painted stones, so please contact me for further details. I love working with shops and galleries on wholesale orders, and my work is now stocked in several shops throughout the UK and overseas.

Can I commission you to create a painting especially for me?

Yes, you can! I enjoy working on special commissions and custom orders so I'd be very happy to discuss the possibility of creating something for you. More information on commissions and a general price list can be found on my website natashanewton.com, or you can contact me here on Etsy.

Do you have a mailing list?

Yes, and you can subscribe via the 'mailing list' page of natashanewton.com. Great for exclusive offers!
