Since I was a little girl, I have always had a love for arts and crafts. From crochet to water colors I loved being creative with my hands. I longed to grow up and become an artist, but was pulled into the business world for the need to pay bills and such, you know...life expenses. My first acrylic painting was of my beloved pup, Zero. He keeps me company most nights while I'm painting. I started painting coasters almost by mishap. I was buying old chairs to restore and the owner had a pile of old tiles there to re-sell. I picked up a few and painted a set for my Mom. She liked them so much that she suggested I make more as presents for family members. I started to experiment with different tiles, paints, and sealants and decided to share my hobby with the rest of the world.

Since that first set of coasters, I have expanded to several different materials. I fell in love with macrame over the past year and I am working on ways to merge my love for all things Louisiana with my new found love for fiber art! Stay tuned for what's in store, I'd love to hear your ideas too!
