I was so excited to get my painting and when I finally got it, I say finally b/c I have never ordered anything international before and am not used to the wait :), I was thrilled! The colors are rich and the quality of the canvas is great! I'm thinking that you even wrapped the canvas yourself maybe. Which is awesome b/c the picture flows through the sides instead of stopping or not matching at the edges. I will definitely recommend you and buy something again. Worth the wait! Thank you Madelyn! Bless you!

Blending the strokes of mercy and beauty.

I believe in mercy, creativity, love, beauty, and serving.

My love for painting is matched by my love for serving the overlooked and undervalued. My shop is dedicated to the heart patients I work for and 10% of all my profits are donated to them.

But all of this had to start somewhere, and I suppose it happened when I met my husband. He introduced me to a world of Muslims, Jews, beauty, pain, hard work, and above all true, deep, sacrificing love. Next thing I knew my faith was leaping and we were married and packing our bags for Jerusalem.

In Jerusalem, we both work full time for an organization that brings children from Gaza and Iraq to Israel because they have life-threatening heart defects. Pediatric cardiology is not accessible in their home lands. But Jewish doctors in Israel give their all to fight for these Muslim kids through surgeries and round-the-clock care. With all of the suffering and pain that exists in the histories of these people, an act of mercy is far more beautiful than any stroke of paint that will ever leave my fingers.

I love painting and graphic design, and took another leap of faith when I decided to open this shop. Business has been slow for me, but I find that my art has helped me express all of the feelings and changes I've experienced since moving to Israel. I'm willing to give the patience and time necessary to grow a successful business.

I don't know exactly what my future holds, where this shop will take me, or how my experiences in the Middle East will impact others, but I do know that beautiful mercy and merciful beauty are desperately needed in the entire world. I can only pray that I can do my part to contribute in some small way to that.
