Grown Up Girl Scout...
Metal, fire and hammers, oh my!
Creating has been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. I like to joke that I’m a “Grown Up Girl Scout.” All those badge earning skills have really come in handy throughout my life! These days, instead of making fire for a badge, I use fire to create jewelry – from simple soldering, a torch patina or to melt glass onto metal for a beautiful enameled bauble.
Like some of my jewelry creations, my sense of humor is slightly twisted. This helped a lot when I eased onto the jewelry scene several years ago after making the leap from corporate graphic artist positions to start my own graphic design business. My flexible work-from-home hours allow me time with my four-legged children and to nurture this often all-consuming need to make jewelry. I like to find new and beautiful uses for recycled metal and other objects — they provide the foundation of a new creation to be etched, stamped, dangled and transformed.
I’m naturally curious and always just like to know what’s going on or how something is made. I find inspiration in a wide range of places — from a hike with my dogs to something my Grandmother wore thatmy young eyes saw as a treasure. Curiousity Killed the Kathy – It’s like they say, getting there is half the adventure.

Custom orders could take longer depending on the design and if additional materials need to be ordered to make the piece. If that is the case, I will definitely contact you.
United States orders are shipped USPS, Priority when acceptable.
International orders are shipped USPS First Class. PLEASE NOTE: For your protection, international orders will be shipped to the credit card billing address only. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.
Cuff Bracelets: In order to avoid any chance of your cuff bring dented or bent on it's way to you, I package it in a box vs any type of padded envelope, which explains the higher shipping charge. Often it costs more than the listed fee, but it is worth it to me for peace of mind.
••• If you purchase another item along with a cuff, I will refund you the "listed" postage rate for that item, even it it's a second cuff!
