Fleece is always a favorite, especially when it comes filled with nip! I purchased this set of toys to give to my mother's friend who has a cat. It all started with Violet playing in a field of clover. . .

The Cat in the Clover has evolved from my creative interests over the years.

I've done everything from princess parties to musical slideshows, but being involved with a community of cat owners/lovers (www.catster.com) jump started The Cat in the Clover Etsy shop.

The shop was opened in 2008 and while I started making various types of beds for cats (and dogs), we now have settled on one style that we sell exclusively - our reversible fleece Snooze Sack - enjoyed by cats all over the world!

Another favorite item in the shop is our Calvin Collar - named in memory of a precious 18 year old that shared our life. We are proud that some of the proceeds from the sale of Calvin Collars allows us to sponsor cats at Best Friends Animal Society.

The Cat in the Clover also carries Kneading Blankies and Nap Spots that are popular with cats and small dogs.

We love dogs and little creatures too, so you'll find fun items for them in the shop!

A variety of Pet Lover items are also available - these change depending upon my desire to create something new with cute cat fabric!

Inspired Our Name

The name The Cat in the Clover was inspired by my cat Violet who at the time was a stray who loved to chase me in our wooded back yard. He loved hiding in the tall grass and playing in the field of clover. Violet resides at the Rainbow Bridge.
Calvin

Inspiration

The Calvin Collar - loved by cats and stylish too! His memory lives on as we sponsor cats at Best Friends Animal Society from the sale of his collars. Calvin welcomes new friends at the Rainbow Bridge.
Samoa

Diva

The only girl living in a world of brothers who annoy her. She loves being photographed. She has a line of Samoa's Boas in the shop! Samoa is now an angel diva at the Rainbow Bridge.

Gleek originally belonged to my Mom and came to live with us upon her passing. He loves catnapping on Nap Spots and Kneading Blankies! Gleek is now an angel at the Rainbow Bridge.
