I loved the items I ordered. Just one thing I notice with the blue belt and collar is that the material did not match completely. The red/black/blue and white matched completely. I plan to order more. It came from Canada so be careful because the postal company was able to get my credit card info. Several charges were made immediately. I tried to notice the vendor but was not successful.

Received today 1/13/23 & I need to return I ordered XL but it is way to small for me but it is beautiful. Well designed and coming from Canada it took about 9 days, which was ok. Sorry but will be returning tomorrow via UPS.

Am very much taken by these pieces of wearable art. Took longer than I like but that was probably my impatience acting out. Hope this business does well. Its very different than anything Ive seen in the marketplace.

Pursuing these dreams

As a child I already liked to cut papers and make dolls. I decorated them, created clothes for them and built a whole universe around them. But very quickly I was made to understand that school was more important than this universe from which I resigned myself and stopped everything.
I left my country of origin to continue my university studies in France, after my studies I find myself in Canada where I started working as a Quality Assurance Specialist in the food field but I must admit that I have always missed this world of creation.
My mother is also a designer, she had set up her clothing chain and had a clothing shop in my home country being retired she still kept her sewing workshop so I decided to launch my clothing and accessories line and I named it Thecla Creations. Thecla is my mother's first name, was a way for me to pay tribute to her because I learned everything from her and she always told me that I had what and that she should have let me continue in this field but as the saying goes "better late than never".
All our items are made in the DRC (my home country) in my mother's atélier.

Toute petite j’aimais déjà découper des papiers et en faire des poupées. Je les décorais, leur créés des vêtements et construisais tout un univers autour d’elles. Mais très rapidement on m’a fait comprendre que l’école était plus important que cet univers d’où je me suis résignée et ait tout arrêté.
J’ai quitté mon pays d’origine pour aller poursuivre mes études universitaires en France, après mes études je me retrouve au Canada où j’ai commencé à travailler comme Spécialiste en assurance qualité dans le domaine alimentaire mais je dois vous avouer que cet univers de la création m’a toujours manqué.
Ma mère est également une designer, elle avait monté sa chaîne de vêtements et avait une boutique d’habillement dans mon pays d’origine étant à la retraite elle a quand même gardé son atelier de couture alors j’ai décidé de lancer ma ligne de vêtements et accessoires et je l’ai baptisée Thecla Créations. Thecla est le prénom de ma mère, s’était une manière pour moi de lui rendre hommage parce que j’ai appris tout d’elle et elle m’a toujours dit que j’avais ce dont et qu’elle aurait dû me laisser poursuivre dans ce domaine mais comme le dit le dicton «mieux vaut tard que jamais".
Tous nos articles sont fabriqués en RDC (mon pays d'origine) dans l'atélier de ma mère.
