5 out of 5 starsGreat for my copper edc. Great product and shipped in decent time. Seems polished and maybe coated though. I hope it patinas. I’d like a raw copper version or bead blasted

All I wanted was a yard decoration. So I built one.
I found my creative medium by accident or design, not sure which.
One day in the summer of 2009 I re-landscaped my front yard and needed something for a little mound on one side. Enter my quest for a windmill and I ended up making one from copper. Never did any metal work before but I just fell in love with that metal. I started making more and more and more stuff until one day my daughters told me about Etsy. What the heck, I'll see what happens with some jewelry ( Hey - there just isn't a market for $7,000 copper windmills and locomotives - that stuff I made for myself anyway ). I've never worn jewelry and had no idea what to make so maybe this was an advantage because I was free to do what I wanted and create what I liked.
It's an evolving process as I learn new techniques, explore new materials and read, look, learn and experiment. My roots are with copper but now I love pure silver too. The two metals work very much the same and they compliment each other so well. After I opened my first Etsy shop I started selling at Farmers markets, craft fairs, Christmas show and the like. I love them! Talking with people and being a vendor is something I look forward to every summer. I'm so honored when a total stranger buys one of my pieces or compliments my art. That makes all the work, frustration and hard hours spent on non creative efforts worth it.
Etsy is my year around shop. A couple years ago I'd never heard of it and now I have sales in Europe, Australia, Singapore, Canada and it just blows my mind that my stuff got picked from the millions of choices available in the online world. I recently got placement in the Natural History Museum of Utah ( http://www.umnh.utah.edu/) gift shop. Wow, just wow.

Accepted payment methods
Returns and exchanges
Return/Refund time is extended to Jan. 10 if your purchase was made between Nov 25 and Dec 24 of the prior year.
Custom orders excluded. I don't consider a ring or cuff made to size as a custom order. Stamped names, personalized or the like, yeah, that's custom and I can't offer a refund for those but will remake them if the fit is not right. Customer pays return postage.
======================= Return Instructions =========================
I recommend using USPS 1st class with delivery confirmation ( tracking ). It's quick, inexpensive and reliable. I have rarely had a package lost but it can happen. You may want to buy insurance to protect yourself from a lost shipment. Send the return item to:

If you have a PayPal account you can print a shipping label with free delivery confirmation on plain paper or adhesive label and securely tape the label to a mailer. Do not cover the bar code area with any tape. Deposit the package in any collection box, post office or with your mail carrier.

Shipping
Shipping Upgrades ( available at checkout )
USPS Flat rate Priority is not a time guaranteed service but usual shipping time is 2-3 days to U.S. destinations.
USPS Priority Express is a money back guaranteed service of 1-2 business days with Saturday delivery to U.S. destinations. I often see next day deliveries to major metro destinations.
Lost or delayed mail is very frustrating for everyone. In the event that a package is not received in the expected time frame, I will send a replacement or refund the order when 14 calendar days have elapsed since the last tracking activity for U.S. shipments or 28 calendar days for international shipments. Some international shipments can be stalled in customs clearing for extended periods.
Please understand that there is little I can do after a package is mailed. You will have the same tracking information available that I have or that USPS can tell you. Email tracking updates are available to alert you of tracking activity at the USPS tracking site.
