Are your lanyards breakable?
Our lanyards are made with clay. Clay beads are durable but not indestructible. If our lanyards smack into something hard they can break! We recommend hanging lanyards on a key hook when not in use and handling them with care - treat them as you would any other piece of jewelry.
Do your lanyards include breakaway safety clasps?
Yes! All of our lanyards are made using breakaway safety clasps.
Custom and personalized orders
We do not accept returns or exchanges at this time. However, if there is an issue with your order, please contact us at TheCreativeAppleCo@gmail.com and we will do everything we can to help!
How does shipping work for sticker orders?
To keep product costs low, we offer free/untracked shipping for stickers. Your sticker(s) will arrive in a card via stamped mail. If you prefer to have tracking information, you must upgrade to "express" shipping during checkout.
Care instructions
To clean lanyard beads that are looking dirty or dingy, we recommend wetting the corner of a magic eraser or using a baby wipe to gently wipe beads making them look as good as new!
Can you make a coffee cup? A rocket ship? Cactus? Golden retriever? Yoda?
Yes! We can make just about anything for a custom order bead. We take your ideas and do our very best to bring them to life. The more specific you are with colors, items, and design concepts, the easier it is for us to create what you want!
How much do lanyards cost?
We price lanyards based on the amount of time and materials it takes to create each design. Please see individual listings for pricing.
Custom and personalized orders
See a listing you LOVE, but want to sub colors for the ones to match your classroom or your style? Send us a message or an email and we will be happy to tweak the colors of beads in our existing lanyard listings. PLEASE NOTE: We will only substitute colors, we will NOT make changes to overall designs for pre-existing lanyards. For example, if you want to order the "Groovy Lanyard," we are happy to change the book bead from red to blue (or another color), but we will NOT remove the book bead to create a new icon in its place. If you would like a new design created, you must purchase a custom listing with your request.
My order arrived damaged. What can I do?
Due to the custom/made-to-order nature of our items, we do not accept returns. However, we understand how disappointing it can be when orders arrive damaged. If this happens, please message/email us with photos of your order and we will send a replacement(s) for the item(s) that arrived damaged at no cost to you!
A bead(s) on my lanyard broke! Can I get a replacement?
The beads used to make our lanyards are made with clay. Clay beads are durable but not indestructible. If our lanyards smack into something hard or get lost in the bottom of a bag/purse they can break! We recommend hanging lanyards on a key hook when not in use and handling them with care - treat them as you would any other piece of jewelry.
However, we understand that some pieces may be more delicate than others and can break after normal wear and tear. If a bead breaks, please send us a message or an email with a photo of the broken piece(s) and we will be happy to help.
WARRANTY INFORMATION: We are happy to replace a broken bead (or broken beads) ONCE per lanyard for up to six months after your purchase date.
