An ordinary girl striving for the extraordinary.

For me, my love for decorating and flower arranging began many years ago, when I worked at a florist shop. It's funny how a hodgepodge of things - a job at a florist early in life, my love of chalk painting furniture and decorating my house - brought me to the decision that I wanted to try and sell what I *really enjoy making at this stage in life, which is handmaking wreaths of all kinds and oil painting on canvas. As much as I enjoyed working at a florist, more importantly, it gave me the hands-on experience and skills I still apply to my wreath making today. This is where I am most comfortable: out in my garage on a work table with all the pretty colors and textures around me to choose from to hopefully aid in brightening someone's day!

As far as my love for painting, I kind of just tried it because my furniture painting turned out really well, and I thought, Well, why not! And I still have the pretty colors and textures of paint at my fingertips. I developed my style, which is more of an impressionist style I guess, but really it's just my style, whatever it is. I like it, and it's a more relaxed way of expressing myself.

So whether you're looking for canvas art or pretty quality wreaths, I hope you give my shop a look. Thanks for reading my short story, and be sure to follow your dreams, your heart and craft, whatever it may be!
