All three of these little masterpieces are getting framed for my studio wall so I can enjoy them all the time! Thanks, Tina, for such wonderful pieces!

great work as usual.
I love artists who think science is cool!
My Etsy story goes back to 2006 when I joined the site (under a different shop name) For years I've been selling my own art here, unless a hiatus a couple of years ago. Why the break? I didn't stop making art but I moved across the country from London to Scarborough on the Yorkshire coast. And I opened a GALLERY! So exciting! Grejczik Gallery in Scarborough is a teeny tiny art gallery that exhibits artists who love science.
So my Etsy shop is now some of my own work, some of my fossil collecting, and illustrations that I do for my gallery, Grejczik Gallery. You see, while I show artwork by other artists in the gallery the back wall is a giant chalkboard. (because I'm really about 4 years old in my head) So for every theme I do my own giant wall-sized illustration. These become prints and postcards!
So for my gallery has exhibited 3 Etsy artists from far and wide: atomicart (San Francisco), drawingindark (Whitby), and immortallongings (London).
I love making art. I'm a full time artist and create both geology inspired drawings and large scale colourist paintings that involve my physics degree. On my "days off" (what's that?) I like to go to various beaches and bays here on the Yorkshire coast and collect fossils. Obviously, until I live in a rock cave I don't have nearly enough room for all the fossil bits I find. So I can offer them with art! I thought they'd be perfect gifts for highly cultured geeks like myself. ;)
Yorkshire is known as the other "Jurassic Coast" in England and ammonite arms can literally be found by the dozen some days. I am a member of the Yorkshire Geological Society, the Open University Geology Society, the Institute of Physics, and various art organisations. I also give public talks to art or astronomy groups about art and science combined - the history of science topics in art, how things like rock pigments and the colour spectrum are relevant to artists, or just why an artist would want to study science.
**Please note my home is not pet-free, but my pets are dinosaurs... er, I mean reptiles. So no need to worry about hair, fluff, dander, etc.**
Owner, Artist, Rock Hammerer
Artist, gallery owner, and fossil gatherer. Combining my loves of art and science in one little shop.
Mort (short for Mortbreath) is the bearded dragon in charge of customer enquiries. I do, of course, screen her replies before they're sent. She has great people skills but tends to always steer the conversation to crickets near the end.
Squeaky does just that... he squeaks. Keeps me on task. He also overlooks all printing and shipping. (since he sits by the desk)
Darwin the inflatable dinosaur makes sure all the fossils are cool. He looks at the dozens I bring back from the beach and chooses the best ones for the gift sets.
Redbubble is a print-on-demand marketplace with high quality printing and products. Their ability to produce items locally - in the USA, Australia and the EU - means I can create art items that ship to you faster and with fewer import fees.
Accepted payment methods
I process print orders via a 3rd party art printer. These are sent directly from the print and I will 'tick' your item as shipping when they have confirmed shipping. This can be after a 2-3 day processing time. Art prints are shipped locally, meaning USA orders come from the USA and UK/European orders come from Europe. To save you time and import fees! :)
If you need super fast shipping please let me know and we can arrange a special invoice for an upgrade - this can be about an additional £15-20. (sorry, darn those international courier rates!)
Refunds and Exchanges
I follow all UK/EU trading standards so your rights are not superceded by any statement on this page.
