I purchased a stunning piece of art from Kristin. It’s one of a kind and breathtaking!! I ordered one day, and received it in 3 days! Wrapped beautifully for a very special opening of the grand treasure…..a true joy. 😉. I also bought two of her “sunshine on my shoulders “ cards. That has been my favorite song for over 50 years!! Kristin/Dandelion is also an absolute gem and joy to know. I will definitely come back for more beautiful treasures!

About Dandelion Studio

Welcome to Dandelion Studio! My name is Kristin and I am so glad you are here! Dandelion Studio came to fruition following a year of finding my voice through art and then receiving requests from family and friends to bring my creations into their own homes.

I am a mixed-media artist with a background in elementary education and counseling. My earliest memories of making art start with my early childhood years growing-up as a pastor's daughter in Rockfish Valley, Virginia. Amidst those rolling green hills, I developed a love for the Blue Ridge Mountains, wildflower fields, and walks through the woods to the winding river behind our house. My mom, an artist in her own right, set-up a table in our basement where my older sister and I created lopsided river clay sculptures and nature crafts on lazy summer days. As I grew a bit older, I found great pleasure in designing my own birthday party invitations, crafting homemade gifts for family and friends, and sewing clothes/accessories for my stuffed animals and our obliging dog Honey.

Today, as a wife and mom to 2 teenagers, the oldest having autism, I seek to share pieces of my own journey with the hopes of bringing healing and inspiration to others.
