Recycled Wallets, Jewelry and Uncommonly Unique Vintage Oddities

It's important to have a story behind what you carry in life; this is my artistic vision and why I create.

I started my business in 2009 while I was looking for a cool and unique purse to buy and could not find one that I thought was truly unique. I started experimenting with my computer's scanner at the time, happened to have some printable fabric on hand and some cassette tapes laying around, and the Cassette Tape Clutches were born!

In time, the cassette tape purses have been made into several different sizes and versions, including the mini change purse size, cell phone cases and even tablet cases! My buyers love that they can remember their favorite memories of their favorite bands and albums with my bags.

When my friends found out I made these bags, they donated all of their tapes to me! Some tapes I could not use because they did not turn out right as scans (that has now changed with technology!), so I began making other things out of them like lamps, pen holders and wreaths. If arranged in just a certain way and with the right adhesive, cassettes can act like building blocks!

In 2018, I began adapting the same kind of building technique to working with VHS tapes and have been very successful in making tables from them!

I still enjoy creating purses, but I also enjoy collecting and sharing unique vintage items with my customers. I love making home a one-of-a-kind and fun place to be. It's amazing what you can find when you look around you!
