Announcement   Hi there, Welcome to The Estate of Things.

We are a home decor, historic renovation and lifestyle brand with a keen bi-coastal design sensibility -- inspired by the Southlands of the East and West Coasts. We were established on a set of barstools in Southern Pines, NC in 2007, by founders Sarah Farrell & Betsy Moyer.

We have a knack for stumbling upon gorgeous vintage finds on the weekends, and our ETSY shop is full of these items and other home goods that we think you will love as much as we do!

Thanks for shopping,
Sarah & Betsy

Shop policies

Last updated on May 3, 2016
We are hopelessly addicted to flea markets, antique festivals and thrift store hunting combined with a love and appreciation for interior design.

We can't always keep everything we find and love, so we decided to start our shop.

Sarah & Betsy choose only vintage accessories and furnishings for the shop that they would place in their own homes.

All of the vintage items made available in the shop are photographed and described meticulously, and as accurately as possible. Some of my items may have minor signs of wear or imperfections simply because of their age.

Additional policies and FAQs
The Estate of Things started as a blog about stylized living, home decor and renovation. It was conceived as way to keep the two long time friends and former college roommates connected over their shared passion for design, despite the 3000 miles of distance between California and North Carolina.
