My artistic journey started as a comfortable escape to the infinity of my inner worlds, supported by diverse music. What I found there was spontaneously transmitted to the paper, without me recognizing the importance or meaning of it. It just happened and I surrendered my hand to the unknown flow of creative force.
As a child I was mostly drawn to nature, recognizing its complex and symbiotic diversity with an innocent eyes. Later on I distanced myself from that and became immersed in the world of computer games and movies. But meanwhile my inner child was still trying to understand the world by observation and expression through guitar, photography and poetry. While studying graphic design, which I felt was the thing I want to pursue in life, I was presented by plant medicines and my world turned into a spiral of exploration of the unknown, yet very familiar and homely. What I found inside the mushroom world was a calling of my soul to do something unpredictable, something not yet fully understood. All I knew was that it's true and I should trust it.
Since then the magnetism of creation is pulling me towards manifestation of the inexpressible. Sometimes it feels as if I am merely a channel through which my subconscious as well as higher information manifests on a blank surface. The art became my biggest teacher and a therapist, a psychoanalysis of my inner states and a reflection of my insights. A chaotic order and harmony of existence, interconnection of the divine polarity. A humble interpretation of the visions that I’ve gathered in altered states and a mystical journey of understanding the magnificence of life. A mycelium which smoothly connects my desire to grow spiritually, to explore the world and its beautiful creations and to reunite with the tribal ground of the Mother Earth. Inside my artistic wobble I found that tiny veil of magic, which ennobles our humble presence on that planet, striving for a better, more harmonious, more natural, more wild and authentic world. In a sense, my art tries to remind us of a human-nature-cosmos connection, our shamanic history and the importance of exploring our inner worlds to reconnect, thrive and create as One.
