Also available are Christmas ornaments, pill boxes, magnetic sewing needle cases, needle minders, pendants & key rings. No order too big or small. Proceeds supporting our non profit, no kill cat sanctuary claws cat sanctuary.

Sizes of button products offered are 1", 1.25" and 2.25".

NOTE: Due to the practice of killing off ALL feral cats in Australia, I will no longer be doing ANY business with anyone living there. I can not do much to take a stand on this issue but I can make sure no I take nothing from a country that has such an assassin solution to a problem that really doesn't exist. Had they done TNR years ago there would not be an overpopulation of cats. PERIOD!

I am now in partnership with my daughter in law in our new shop
thehandcraftedvalley.etsy.com where you can find rustic wedding & home decor. New products added everyday! My companion shop eventfullteacups.etsy.com is also open for themed teacups for your wedding and other special events. I am also in collaboration with Afterthefireceramics.etsy.com offering some of her original bee keeping artwork on pins, magnets and more. Also visit my mom's shop thesteampunkcatslave.etsy.com for her new line of pet memorabilia items and totally decked out compact mirrors in her unique style!

WHAT YOUR PURCHASE MEANS FOR US: Most of the proceeds from this shop goes to our 501c3 non-profit cat shelter/sanctuary C.L.A.W.S. Inc. located here on the farm. We have constant financial needs such as vetting, cleaning supplies, meds, and more. For more info:

About

From Art Festivals to Steampunk Conventions, I've done it all.

Back in 2007 a new friend, now my best friend suggested starting an Etsy shop with my fairy creations. I needed to generate some income because I got just fired from my job, yep fired! Chronic migraines are a beast and back then they pretty much ruled my life. Now they are under "control" only now with aging come new problems, you know them. So I started my shop and went head first doing local craft shows with no one to show me the ropes. It is true that expression "you learn from experience" because I had none. Thank God for my parents always there helping set up and tear down. Unless you have done it you have no idea how hard it is. I created a small following that started looking for me from one year to the next which makes you feel really good. Well, I accomplished that so to the next phase.

Divorce struck and I sold my dream house moving home to the family farm in 2009. Shortly after my artistic flair moved to more "Steampunk & Wonderland" while my mother was making phenomenal jewelry. We decided to team for the sake of the non-profit cat shelter which is located on the farm that I now help her run. Again we hit the road only this time doing steampunk conventions & comicons. WOW! What a ride, and by that I mean Atlanta, Chicago, Wisconsin, Cincinnati, Pennsylvania, Alabama and all in a old white van from TN hoping it does not break down. The van is long retired as is so is our shows due to shelter care being an issue while we are on the road.

One Christmas I mentioned to my mom that I wanted to sell supplies. Well my present was my first button machine. The next Christmas my son got me the second machine. I now have a 1" & 2.25" and sales have sky rocketed. I bought an extra 1" for back up. I purchase images from Etsy sellers looking for the most beautiful and best I can find to offer my customers. Constantly expanding every year is the primary goal.

Some little tidbits you might not know about me/my shop:
~TheFaerywatcher is the home to the original "Captured Fairy Wings"
~I have rescued animals for 25 years and help run C.L.A.W.S. Inc. 501c3 non-fit cat sanctuary. It stands for Cat Lovers Alliance for Welfare & Sterilization
~I LOVE opossums!
~In my life I have been a vet assist, prof cake decorator, load tractor trailers at UPS, started my own home cleaning co. (6 years), and now I am my own boss again.

Thank you for your visit to my page.
Love & Light,
The Faerywatcher/Wendy

Frequently asked questions
What different sizes and styles do you offer?

I offer three sizes, 1, 1.25 & 2.25" Not all listings have all the choices available at checkout. However if you see a design but not the option you desire, send me a message and I will send you a link to purchase.

1" option:
Flat back, hollow back, pin back & magnet
Also~
Photo pendants, key fobs, hair ties, shoe lace charms, needle minders, wine charms, magnetic pin

1.25" option:
Flat back, pin back & magnet
Also~
Needle minders

2.25" option:
Pocket mirror, magnet, pin, Christmas ornament, flat backs

Do you accept custom orders and how?

Yes, any item in my shop can be made with your company logo, family photo, children's artwork, pet portrait, ultrasound photo, and even "I Love You" in your own hand writing. All you need is an un cropped Jpeg with a 300 DPI resolution that you will attach to a convo or email to me. The rest is magic!

How do I have something personalized?

Just let me know what you have in mind and on what size and I will see if it works BEFORE you purchase. On some of the 1" sizes, the pattern sometimes competes with wording.

What is the difference in flatback, hollowback, & pinback? What do I need?

The options can be overwhelming if you are just starting out but it is very easy.
FLATBACK~has a flat metal back which allows for gluing. Use this in jewelry making, hairbows, scrapbooking etc.
HOLLOWBACK~is just that, hollow. Used for making your own magnets.
PINBACK~for wearing. These have a copper wire already in place for wearing.
MAGNET~ready to use with a VERY strong ceramic magnet permanently glued in place.

What if my order is a gift?

You have a gift note option at checkout, if selected your recipient will receive a note that coordinates with the gift and extra special packaging. No invoice will be included.

How long does it take to create my order and ship?

Once your order is placed it usually takes about 2-3 business days to complete. Larger orders (over 100 pieces) may take a little longer. Orders are completed in which they are received and then shipped via USPS First Class with tracking. If you are in a hurry, you can choose Priority at checkout and this will push you to the front of the production line and ship ASAP.
