    Shopper extraordinaire turned designer/maker. When I had my first daughter in 2008, I searched high and low for adorable hair accessories for her. Frequently, I was disappointed by the offerings at the time. So, I decided to make my own!

    I specialize in handmade baby headbands, girl's hair bows and hair clips, newborn, infant and toddler headbands, chunky necklaces, photo props, baby wing and headband sets and more! My boutique quality headbands can be sized up to accommodate adults with a whimsical flair. Crafted with the finest supplies available, with a discerning eye for quality and detail, my accessories are sure to please!

    Welcome to The Fairy Factory! I specialize in a wide range of handmade, quality hair bows, hair clips, and headbands, for newborns - adults, as well as photo props and chunky necklaces, for all of your accessory needs!

    Returns and exchanges
    Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery if I have made a mistake in your order. All orders are custom made to your specifications and must be stated with purchase.

    If the return is not due to an error in the product, then the unworn item may be returned for a refund, minus original shipping. If the return is due to an error or defective product, then a full refund will be given, including shipping. Please contact The Fairy Factory via an Etsy message *prior* to returning the item(s) to ensure a return/refund is available.
    Payment
    I accept credit cards through either Paypal, or directly through Etsy. This shop also accepts Etsy gift cards! Sales tax is applied to all orders shipping to the state of Virginia.
    Shipping
    Please check my listings for current turnaround times. There are times when I have a large volume of orders, and ship at the very end of my production time (even using the extra business day, as noted in each listing). If you need your order sooner than this time range, please purchase a rush listing (in the "Rush & Shipping Upgrades" section of my shop) to give it a much better chance of reaching you in time.

    ***PLEASE NOTE: You can find your scheduled ship date on your order receipt on Etsy. On heavy volume days, some orders may miss the last pickup, but will be dropped off at the post office, and will be there for the next pickup.***

    *Postage upgrades are available.*

    Once the post office has my package, I have no control over how long delivery will take. U.S. packages typically are delivered within 2-4 business days of shipment. On rare occasions, packages can take longer. The post office does not consider a package lost until 3 weeks have passed from date of acceptance. If your tracking shows that it is stuck somewhere, and has not been delivered for over 3 weeks, then we will go from there.

    If your package shows as delivered, and you have not received it, you will be asked to look for it locally (i.e. checking with members of your household, and your postal carrier/post office). If it's still not found, an investigation will be launched and your cooperation will be needed, including signing any necessary documentation.

    Please be aware your country may charge additional customs duty and/or import taxes.

    Please also be aware that as the seller, I do not pay for any applicable duty, value added taxes (VAT) or import consumption taxes charged to you by your country.

    The recipient of the merchandise will be required to pay the duty or VAT upon delivery. Due to import duty valuation adjustments and currency valuations, I am unable to provide an estimate for duty or VAT.
