Greetings!

Welcome to the online home of The Felted Tree. I strive to create unique and heirloom quailty items which will bring character to your home and life.

Initially born from my desire to take my annual holiday sales endeavors to the next logical expression, my Etsy shop allows me the luxury of creating, making and selling while maintaining my full time job, mom to two beautiful children.

If you see an item you like but prefer a different finishing detail from another item in my shop, feel free to inquire about a custom listing. I will do my best to see that you get exactly what you want. Custom color combination requests are always welcome, please message me for details. While Audrey & Oliver do keep me busy, I promise to ship your orders in the advertised time-frame with care and attention to detail.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale

Please if you have any problems with your order.
My goal is that you are happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied for any reason, simply return the item within 7 days and I will issue a refund. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs (tracking & insurance is recommended) and will be refunded item cost only, not original shipping costs, once item arrives back to me. Please send me a convo before returning your item. Custom orders are non-refundable.
Payment
Payments can be made through Etsy by major credit cards, Etsy gift cards or Pay Pal. Once an order has been shipped it can not be cancelled. Custom orders can not be cancelled once production has begun.
Shipping
Orders will be shipped in the advertised time-frame with care and attention to detail. Most orders will be shipped via USPS parcel or priority mail although I may choose to utilize UPS, FedEx or first class mail depending on your geographical location. Once shipped delivery time is estimated to be be between 1-5 days but is subject to the seasonal fluctuations of these carriers. Once your order has shipped, please realize that I do not have any control over when your order arrives to you. A tracking number will be provided to you once an order has shipped. If you have concerns about the security of the location to which your package will be delivered, you have the option of paying an additional fee for insurance and delivery confirmation. I am sorry but I can not provide replacement of articles delivered by the carrier but not received by you.

Please double check your "ship to" address for accuracy. If the carrier deems your package undeliverable because of an incomplete or incorrect address & returns the package to me, you have a few options. 1. If the address was correct and you feel the carrier made a mistake, I can (usually) just put the package back in the mail and there will be no additional charge to you. However, please note that a new tracking number will not be issued and the carrier will likely not update their system and therefore there will be no recourse for us if the package does not arrive. You assume all liability with this option. 2. If the address was correct and you feel the carrier made a mistake but you don't want to go without a new tracking number, I will split the shipping costs with you. Please note, if your package is again returned and you then choose option 4, the amount of shipping I paid the second time will also be deducted from your refund. 3. If the address you provided was incorrect, you can pay the shipping costs again and I will re-send your item. 4. You can choose to cancel the sale and I will refund your purchase, less the original shipping costs and up to a $5 handling fee for domestic orders and up $10 on international orders.

If for some reason you refuse the shipment / do not take delivery of the items, I will refund your purchase less the original shipping costs and up to a $5 handling fee for domestic orders and up $10 on international orders.

Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico MAY have additional shipping costs and you will be notified prior to shipping.

Expedited processing and shipping are available, please send me a convo to discuss terms that suit your needs if the option doesnt show on the items listing.

I custom pack each order with great care and I believe in reuse & recycling. It is good not just for the environment, but keeping your shipping costs low. Should your package arrive damaged, please photograph the damaged area and retain all shipping materials. If your product is damaged I won't be able to make a claim, and therefore provide you with a replacement, if I don't have documentation of the damaged shipping container & materials.

If the unthinkable happens and the shipping carrier looses your package, our recourse will depend on the shipping method. If your package did not go priority mail (typically any shipping cost less than $7) we cannot file an insurance claim and can only submit a lost package search request. Because the delivery of the package is out of my control, replacement of goods will be handled on a case by case basis. You always have the option of paying an additional fee to add insurance to any package. If your package is sent with insurance, I will re-send your purchase as soon as I am able to complete an insurance claim on the item.
