About

A love of colorful wool

My interest in felting began with my first attempt at making dryer balls several years ago. I was thick into making laundry soap from my handmade soap and wanted a good, natural product to use with the soap for my laundry. I had been hearing a lot about dryer balls, so I dug into my stash of wool yarn, wrapped the yarn into a ball and felted it. It was pretty and easy to do, but after several months, those yarn balls started looking pretty haggard. I researched other ways to make dryer balls, and discovered wool roving. I've been hooked ever since!

I continue to be amazed at the versatility felting provides. A rainbow of colors to choose from and limitless things that can be made from it, from slippers to bags to the tiniest felted acorns. And as a mom of a toddler, I love that felting projects are portable and can usually be made quickly.

I hope you will enjoy having a look around my shop. I make everything here with my own two hands, and take great pride and enjoyment in what I make for you.

Thanks for stopping by! I love to create colorful works of art using wool as my medium. You will find some items I make over and over, while others are truly one of a kind and will likely not be made again. I hope you find what you're looking for, but if you don't see it listed, I might just be able to make it for you. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your needs.
