Welcome to The Felting Dorcas on Etsy! You will find a colourful assortment of quality felt balls that are perfect for your crafting and decorating needs. We offer a variety of customized 100% wool felt ball garlands and flowers that will transform your nursery décor, next party and your home décor. Whatever the occasion, add some colour and style with our handcrafted accessories.

This adventure into felt décor began after my family and I moved to our new home. I have always had a passion for arts and crafts and I finally was ready to share my creations with the world. I’m always in awe of the art that two hands and a vivid imagination can produce. Each creation holds so much love and emotion and I feel proud each and every time one of my designs goes out into the world. Whether you are decorating your nursery or planning a special event, I’m honoured to be included!

I love this business with my whole heart and am very dedicated to providing incredible customer service and the highest quality items I can create. I always make sure to give back to my community and frequently donate a portion of sales to my local community. My objective in life has always been to support the needy ones as we lift each other up with love and support.

In my free time, you’ll find me baking away in the kitchen. I find baking to be therapeutic, relaxing and inspirational. I live in Melbourne with my husband and family members close by and they certainly love my baking addiction. They are always eager to try a new concoction and delicious treat! We are dog lovers and hope to add a special pup to our family one day.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)

Returns and exchange details
It is of utmost importance to us that you are happy with your order. However, if for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 3 days after receiving your item.
1. Contact us regarding your intention to get a refund/exchange before returning the item to us.
2. The item must then be returned in unused, unopened, resalable and original condition.
3. No refund will be issued for items returned in damaged condition. A restocking fee will be issued for all returned items:
20% for items returned in unused, unopened, resalable and original condition. 50% for items returned in opened and used condition.
4. Only a refund of the price of the item purchased will be issued, all other charges such as postage and handling costs will not be refunded. This applies to returned item due to damage, wrong address provided and/or if an item has been refused and returned to us from the customs in unopened, resalable and original condition, without imposing other charges on the seller.
5. Retain your proof of posting until the returned item has been received and refunded.

Under the following condition, you will receive a full refund from us that will include the item price and shipping fee:
1. If an order has been sent to you incorrectly without seeking prior agreement, e.g. wrong item.

Please note that all custom orders are not refundable. To request for any refund, you must first get in touch with us (through conversation) regarding your order(s).
Payment
We accept payment through PayPal and Etsy Direct Checkout, which allows you to use your debit or credit card, and Etsy gift vouchers.

All orders will be processed only after payment is received, we’d appreciate if you could make payment as soon as possible after an order is placed :)
Shipping
It is important to ensure that your Etsy and Paypal delivery address are the same. By default, orders will be shipped to your Etsy address - please ensure it is up to date :)

Please refer to each individual listing for the turnaround time. If there is any delay in shipping your orders (for example, due to public holidays and busy seasons), we will notify you as soon as we can and keep you updated.

Domestic/Australian orders: All orders are shipped via regular post service. If you’d like your item shipped via express or registered post services, you may contact us regarding the extra postage required.

International orders: Deliveries to the rest of the world may take up to 2-3 weeks to arrive, depending on their destinations. Tracking is included for most international orders. Please contact us regarding the extra postage required if you prefer to use express or a registered post service.

In the case your package does not arrive within the expected timeframe, a package is only considered by us as “lost in transit” after 42 days from the date of shipping and after this, we will do our best to rectify the situation for you.

However, we cannot accept responsibility for any customs issues, refusals and charges imposed by your country. It is encouraged that you find out about your country’s customs laws and regulations before purchasing.

We cannot accept responsibilities for the following incidents and situations:
1. Any delays and loss caused by events beyond our control, including your country’s customs, public holidays, theft at your property after the item has been delivered, natural disasters, incorrect shipping address etc.

Cancellation during the COVID19 pandemic

If you wish to cancel your order after your order's been shipped and is on the way to its destination, a refund of the item cost can only be processed when your package is either declared missing by the courier company after an investigation into it, or when it's been received by you and then returned to us. All international packages are insured, therefore any compensation will be decided by the shipping company when they are confirmed as "lost in transit".

If the item is not deemed "lost in transit" but is just taking a while to be delivered due to the pandemic, a cancellation is not valid and a refund will only be processed when you return the item to us after receiving it eventually (on the basis of a change of mind or faulty item).
