My Small Fiber Arts Business

I raise French and English Angora rabbits for their wool, and they are pampered pets. They are a great source of joy and love in my life, and their wool is humanely gathered by brushing and combing. I source my sheep, Llama, Alpaca and other wools from local, small farmers. I believe in buying local whenever possible and to support the small farmer and artist.

I purchase wool that has just been sheared. I process it by washing in small batches and air dry it outside. I then comb or card it into different types of products including art batts, fiber for felting, blending, make it into roving or spin it into yarns.I hand dye all of my fiber in my home studio with professional acid and natural dyes.

Hello and thanks for stopping by my shop. I am a fiber artist, 50 something, who works from my home studio creating one of a kind pieces for your enjoyment. My art is made with love. I process my own fleeces, and hand dye without harsh chemicals. Organic and natural fibers dominate my work. I also love lots of color and crazy art yarns.
