Frequently asked questions
Do the covers come with inserts?
We're thrilled to now offer premium dog bed inserts that are specially made to fit our bed covers. Our inserts are filled with a specially formulated 100% recycled fiber spun from plastic bottles that would otherwise have ended up in landfill. You can purchase a coordinating insert here: http://bit.ly/dogbedinsert.
Alternatively, you can easily fill your dog bed cover with pillows (see below for recommendations for each cover size) or old towels, sheets and comforters. This is a great option to easily upcycle old linens, and we've heard that it's especially popular for pets with anxiety issues because they find your scent calming.
Can you make a custom-sized cover that fits my existing dog bed?
We are no longer taking custom sized covers at this time. Thank you for your understanding!
Are your covers machine washable?
Yes! All fabrics used in our dog bed covers are selected with durability and washability in mind. To care for your dog bed cover, we recommend machine washing in cold water and air drying.
What size bed is right for my dog?
For a perfect fit, we recommend that you measure your pet while he or she is lying down in a normal sleeping position and then add 10 inches to determine the optimal bed length (the longest dimension). See the size guide in each dog bed cover listing for a reference by weight.
