Announcement    Welcome to my shop.
I started to make these hand carved nostepinnes one year ago to family members. The feedback from others was so great that i decided to make more for selling. So here I am!

All items I make are made by hand so every nostepinne will be unique.
The wood I prefer to use is local juniper wood from the forest right outside my home and the nostepinnes are painted with eco friendly oil paint.

I started to dye yarn a couple of months ago. I love the natural way of dyeing yarn so i decided to only dye yarn with natural dyes such as indigo, onion skins, turmeric, madder root and cochenille.
The yarn base I use is a organic merino yarn from German sheep. Since the climate is not as warm in Germany as in South America or Australia where most of the merino wool comes from, its not quite as soft and has a more rustic feeling.
I love this yarn and think it’s the perfect choice for a cosy colour work sweater or mittens.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or special orders and I will see what I can do.
