I want to make fun, pop culture accessories available to whoever searches!

I'm a freelance graphic designer in Burlington, Ontario. I'm involved in a lot of different fandoms and I wanted to share this love with all of you! :)

I started with making picture necklaces from a variety of fandoms for friends and for myself. Eventually, I figured that others would like them too so I started my shop. I attended local craft shows for a few years before moving into online sales and conventions.

I have a blog that is attached to my shop at where I run giveaways and post about what products I'm working on and what will be coming out next. I also post upcoming sales on my blog so follow me to get the latest news!

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Returns and exchange details
Bath & Body: Returns will not be accepted for bath and body products including lip balm and lotion. If there is a quality issue the product must be inspected before a refund is approved.

Refunds and replacements are given if items arrive damaged and photo proof is given. Just send The Geek Studio a message and attach a photo of the damaged item and we will refund you the full cost of the purchase or send you a new, unbroken, replacement piece.

If you are unhappy with your purchase and would like a refund then just send the item back to the return address on the envelop and send us a message. When we receive the returned item we will refund the cost of the item but not the initial shipping. Return shipping is at the cost of the customer.

Returns are accepted for clothing if the size doesn't fit but only if the shirt is returned, in unused condition, within 40 days of purchase. Customer will be refunded the cost of the item minus the initial shipping. Return shipping is at the cost of the customer and will not be refunded.
Payment of purchases is expected within 24 hours of purchase. Orders take 1 - 5 business days to process before shipping unless otherwise stated.
Shipping to the US and Canada takes up to 2 weeks. International shipping takes 2 - 6 weeks. If this time has passed and you still have not received your purchase please send us a message and we will check into the delivery.

Orders are shipped with a shipping service which routes through the USA. This may include shipping to Canada so tracking may show the package going through the USA.

You have 30 days from the estimated delivery date to report it if your order hasn't arrived. If you do not report it within this time frame we will assume it arrived and your order will not be visited again or resent.

All jewellery is shipped in jewellery boxes to protect during the shipping process so that items don't arrive broken.

Please make sure you double check that your shipping address is correct. Because of issues regarding this recently if you do not receive your order because you provided the wrong address you will have to pay shipping again to resend the order to the correct address. So please check your address and send me a message if you notice it's wrong.
Additional policies and FAQs

What is acrylic?
Acrylic is a light weight plastic that you can get in large sheets from a variety of sources. It is very light, my necklaces being only about the weight of a nickel or small coin, and it's pretty durable. It can get scratched if it's hit with sharp objects but it take a lot of pressure to break. Most of our designs are sturdy enough to take a beating but some, like the "creativity" necklace and some of the other word necklaces, are more delicate and will break if bent too far.

What does 'laser cut' mean?
Laser cut is just how the necklace pieces are cut from the sheet of acrylic. All of our designs are done up on the computer then the file is put into a laser cutting machine which automatically cuts the acrylic based on the designs. Laser cutting leaves a smooth edge with no rough or sharp corners.

Can the necklaces have custom engraving?
At this time, no. We're not able to do custom engraving.

I entered the wrong shipping address! What do I do?

Contact me as soon as possible! If you order hasn't shipped yet I can change the address and ship to your correct one. If you order HAS shipped then unfortunately there's nothing I can do. We just have to wait to see if it's returned.

If you package is returned then I can resend it to your correct address but you would have to pay the shipping cost again since the mistake was on your end.
