The Giving Bowl is an international campaign for incidental altruism. The concept is simple - buy a bowl, throw your spare change in each day and when it's full - donate to a worthy cause.

We've all heard the corny line "your spare change could change a life" and we're taking that to a whole new level. It doesn't matter who you donate your change to, there are hundreds of worthwhile charities and causes out there. The concept is just about proving that you CAN make a difference, and probably without going without.

Of course, you don't have to use our bowls for giving, they are great for a whole range of uses for our bowls. Each fibre used has a story and the purchase price for each will benefit disadvantaged children in Indonesia.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card

Payment
The giving bowl project accepts payments only via Paypal at this stage. If you are in Australia and would like to pay by bank transfer, personal cheque or money order, please contact me and I will make special arrangements.

Sorry, we do not accept bank deposit, cash, money order or personal cheques in foreign currency.

All profits from payments made go towards the running costs of the Foundation 18 orphanage and educational and medical outreach programs, protecting at-risk children living in poverty in Indonesia.

Packaging

Where possible we use recycled packaging products. Sometimes these don’t look as pretty as brand new ones but I’m sure you will understand the benefit to the environment. If you can find a way to recycle or reuse the packaging we send to you with your order, we would encourage you to do so.
Refunds and Exchanges
We really hope you’ll love your original giving bowl, but in the unlikely event that the product does not meet your expectations, you may return the unused item within 7 days for a refund. Please note that shipping cost are not refundable and you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
Additional policies and FAQs
I offer discounts for bulk purchases of 10 or more bowls. If you are a charity or NFP organisation who would like a custom order of gift bowls for fundraising, please convo me and let me know your requirements and I will work out the best price available.

A sliding scale of discounts is available for wholesale purchases of 20 bowls or more. If you would like to discuss stocking the giving bowl please convo me and tell me a bit about your business. For the purpose of maintaining our own ethical standards, wholesale applications are subject to approval, and only available to businesses who share our ethos.

Because we use only organic, sustainable wool we don't have the huge range of colour choices that may be available with most commercial fibres. Unfortunately this means we may not be able to make exactly the colour bowl you would like but if you have ideas please convo me and I'll see what I can do.
