I specially like the curly iron stem, that allows me to put it on a chain for a fall necklace or hang it on my car mirror, or.... very nice product! Shipping was safe and secure, Thank You! About theglasshopper
Lampwork is a type of glasswork in which a torch is primarily used to melt the glass.
The glass begins as a rod the about the width of a pencil and length of a ruler.
Once in a molten state, the glass can be shaped with tools and hand movements, and gravity.
As the modern practice no longer uses oil-fueled lamps, it is also referred to as flameworking or torchworking.
The color choices are endless and so are the possibilities of the finished piece.
