Hello, I'm Maryjane, founder of The Good Hope Co. In February 2022 my husband died suddenly. Taking care of myself felt impossible. Lighting a candle, watching the warm glow and listening to the crackling wooden wick while curled up on the couch gave me the first glimmer of hope in a world that felt so dark.
I have been making products with beeswax and essential oils (lip balms, salves and creams) for over nine years and even though I love to diffuse essential oils, there is something about a candle that just brings those warm and cozy vibes.
I decided to start making my own beeswax candles with the most natural, non-toxic and sustainable materials I could find - and The Good Hope Co. was created. My wish is that my candle can bring good hope to anyone in need of healing and self-care. And especially to those who are grieving or going through a hard time.
