Making sure you always have a good time.

Okay, flashback with me to freshman year of high school. (It was the mid-90's, so put on your Tupac shirt and Pumas). I was required to take an elective and the choices were slim. My mother suggested that I take Clothing (aka Sewing), because that was the one class she took in school that she still utilized as an adult. And darn her, like most mothers, she was right.

I started out sewing basic items like dresses and skirts, then moved on to other projects that interested me like purses, pillow cases, pajamas, duvet covers, and so on. In between all that sewing I also enjoy other ways to be creative, such as making jewelry, painting (more furniture than art though), and cooking. All of this craftiness is just in my bones I guess.

Ok, let's fast forward back to the future (put on whatever is currently trendy where you are). It's early 2012 and I am planning my wedding for summertime in Montreal. The aforementioned mother of mine and I are butting heads in regards to many things, but especially flowers. She thinks real flower bouquets are the best because they are 'traditional'. I feel that the cost and waste of the flowers is not for me. I want something that is unique to me, represents my love of the offbeat, and that I can keep forever as a memento. So together we came up with the idea of a pinwheel theme, complete with pinwheel bouquets. I spent a few months creating these for myself and my bridesmaids, along with the corsages and boutonnieres for the groomsmen and family, centerpieces, signs, guestbook...It was a busy ride at the time, but unforgettable too.

I enjoyed making these fun, quirky, and bright wedding accessories so much that I wanted to do the same for other brides to be. I love talking with a customer about a their event and creating a product just for them. The colors, the date, the location, the theme; these are specific to each bride, and that's what keeps this work interesting for me.

Oh, and you'll notice that I have many other types of items in my shop...those were borne of my love of zippers! :)

Hi there and welcome to my shop! Please take some time to look around and explore. I try to add items regularly, but I'll admit that sometimes I'm not as quick as I hope to be.

I have been sewing for more than half my life, and I enjoy making bags, purses, pillowcases, dog accessories, and clothing. I get inspired by things that I see around me, and I love brightly patterned fabric, anchors, animals, embroidery, and zippers, just to name a few.

I love custom orders as well, so if you have something in mind, send me a message and let's start designing!

All prices and shipping costs are in US dollars.
As of right now, items are currently shipped from the island of Montreal in Quebec using Canada Post. Items ship within 3 days. Typically I do not ship with a tracking number as this can triple or even quadruple the price. If this is something that you want specifically, please message me beforehand so that we can work out an adjusted shipping fee.

Depending on your location, most packages shipped within Canada and to the US take up to a week to be received. It usually ends up being anywhere from 3-7 days. International orders will likely take longer, but I don't have any estimates at this time.

I will be honest, Canada Post is variable and prices can fluctuate. Also, items should not be subject to a customs fee upon receipt, but if that is the case, that is the responsibility of the buyer.

In the event that shipping ends up being less than quoted, (see aforementioned price changes at the drop of a hat), I will refund the difference as soon as possible. If shipping costs are more than quoted, that cost will be absorbed by me, the seller. I also try to check in whenever possible to make sure that a package has been delivered, but please let me know if it has been more than 7 days and you have not received anything.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
