Welcome lace knitters, weavers, spinners, crocheters, and those of you who are randomly wandering around and tripped over this store.

Yarns in my shop were custom-spun for me to be especially appropriate for lace knitting. They produce crisp stitches that bloom to a softer texture with a slight halo after a block-and-wash.

I do dye all the yarn myself, and welcome custom orders. Just drop me a line and we can discuss your needs. Or wants.

Needles are hand-crafted by Roy, and he attends to these on the weekends, so there may be a few days delay before your order is filled.

Please Note: We cannot be responsible for unregistered overseas packages. Once they are delivered to your country, they are no longer traceable by USPS. Should an overseas package be lost, we will deal with it on a case-by-case basis. Please add registered mail and tracking to your order if you want assured delivery.

The USPS is pretty good, but sometimes there are delays. Please do not berate us for this; we have no control over the post office. If the package is really lost, we will usually replace or refund after 30 days. Note that, in all the years we have had the shop, we have never had an irretrievably lost package. Please try to be patient if the tracking gets a bit loopy.

We absolutely will not replace or refund orders whose tracking shows "Delivery Attempted," or "Delivered."

The Gossamer Web warranties our stuff into the Afterlife, providing you can contact us in a manner that we can respond to. For example, if you are able to haunt, we can probably help, as long as your ghost can answer questions and doesn't do stupid stuff like rattle pans at 2am. However, if you send a message via a dream, our brain will be unable to process the request, as it's usually too busy putting together entertainment that includes whomping willows, herds of feral flobberworms, and articulating fish forks. Once notified of an issue, we will do everything in our power to resolve, placate, and make good any issue you have with our stuff.
