I bought these earrings for my sister, who is feeling low and "empty inside." But these donuts, with the hole in the middle, lift her spirits and even give her a chuckle. They're very cute and well made. She can wear them and feel better.
I make delicious jewelry with no added guilt. :)
I started working with polymer clay in 2010, shortly after my second child was born. I had just moved from California to Texas and money was very tight for my family. I needed a job to help pay the bills but I didn't want to leave my current position as a stay at home mom, that is when I started my online business.
I have always loved quirky jewelry and I have a deep passion for food, that is what inspires most of my pieces. I love my job because it allows me to bring those two together. I also have a firm belief that everyone should be able to enjoy these pieces at a reasonable price so I keep my prices low, but I also have them high enough to where I make a few extra dollars to help with the bills. It has never been my intention to do this to get rich or to have it become my full time job.
My business for me is more of a hobby, I do it because I love it and if that passion can help pay a few extra bills each month then that is even better. I feel so blessed that my business has grown the way it has in just these few short years. It has allowed me to keep the most important job I have, which is being a stay at home mother to my three beautiful children.
