The Greedy Seagull was started in 2009 when my own personal collection was bursting out of every corner of my tiny NYC apartment. I've been a vintage collector since junior high school; it all started when I found my first leopard print 1950's coat in a thrift shop and badgered my mother for two weeks until she bought it. It was love at first sight, and vintage and I have been going steady ever since.

This shop is a curated collection of what I feel represents classic American style from the 1930s through early 1960s. I gravitate towards amazing novelty prints, natural fibers, and flattering, feminine silhouettes... with a bit of rockabilly, tomboy and workwear thrown in for good measure.
