Vintage Love Lasts a Lifetime

The Greedy Seagull was started in 2009 when my own personal collection was bursting out of every corner of my tiny NYC apartment. I've been a vintage collector since junior high school; it all started when I found my first leopard print 1950's coat in a thrift shop and badgered my mother for two weeks until she bought it. It was love at first sight, and vintage and I have been going steady ever since.

This shop is a curated collection of what I feel represents classic American style from the 1930s through early 1960s. I gravitate towards amazing novelty prints, natural fibers, and flattering, feminine silhouettes... with a bit of rockabilly, tomboy and workwear thrown in for good measure.

Every piece in my shop is selected with care and is something that I would wear myself. I am incredibly happy to be able to share my finds with you, and hope that you'll enjoy browsing. If you're in the SoCal area, you're always welcome to stop by to check my collection out in person. Cheers!

Returns and exchanges
The Greedy Seagull generally, does not accept returns so please be careful and ask any questions about items before purchasing.

Returns are not accepted for improper fit. If you need help determining whether or not an item will fit, please ask; I'm happy to answer any questions and take additional measurements.

Please keep in mind that all items in my shop are vintage and will show some minor, normal signs of wear. Any noticeable flaws will be described in listings. Also, there might be a slight difference in the color of your item from what you see on your computer screen, as all monitors are different.

The Greedy Seagull is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. Domestic orders all include delivery confirmation, and international orders include a customs number. Purchasing insurance is at your discretion and can be added to your order for a nominal cost.

If there is a problem with your item, you have within two days of receipt of your package to notify us for a return to be considered.
Payment
I currently accept Paypal and all major credit cards. Payment is due at checkout; if you have any trouble placing your order, please contact me for help.
Shipping
I ship Monday-Friday; please allow 1-3 business days for your order to ship.

Most domestic items ship Priority Mail unless otherwise requested. Please contact me for expedited shipping options or to ship first class on eligible purchases.

Most International orders will ship via USPS First Class International mail, and can be tracked online. International Priority shipping is available upon request and at your cost and will also include delivery confirmation. International packages over 4 pounds must be shipped Priority Mail. If you order multiple items and your shipping costs cover Priority Mail, I will automatically upgrade you.

Insurance is optional but always recommended. Contact me in advance to add it to your purchase if you'd like. The Greedy Seagull is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen packages if insurance is not purchased.
Additional policies and FAQs
Reserves are generally available on items for a small, non-refundable deposit on items that have been in the shop for more than one week. New items are generally not eligible for reserves. Please contact us if you'd like more info.
