OUT OF THE OFFICE will happen from 12/16-12/20!
I ship my items PRIORITY MAIL (last day for holiday shopping) but I cannot guarantee it will be there in time!

Upcycling the world's considered trash

I started Fost & Lound based on one idea I had with a lampshade and some fabric. My college roommate ruined the vinyl lampshade on my vintage 50s yellow lamps, and I was so tired of looking at broken pieces of plastic, I decided to fix the pair of lamps.

I looked in the stores to get a new lampshade, and turns out- they're extremely expensive, and not even that attractive!!
I decided to go to the craft store, and bought some fabric, spray glue and a glue gun and went to work.

When I finished four hours later, I realized I could do this daily, and maybe even as a job. I decided to go garage sales, flea markets, auctions, and realized there is so much stuff people would just throw away because of some dirt and scratches.

I want to share with you my endeavors, breathing new life into old things and giving you conversation pieces to love in your home.

I am lover of anything vintage or artsy. I love buying random things people consider trash and turning it into something worth displaying in your house- hence the name Fost and Lound. I am also an artist using oil paint as a main medium of choice.

Welcome to Fost & Lound!
My philosophy is upcycling should be a habit adopted by everyone. Turning something old and forgotten into someone's new conversation starter excites me. Which is why we should all Gussy Up the world :) Whether it be turning an old piece into something new or selling vintage clothing/items we should all be more aware of our environment and how we take care of it!

All items will be shipped between 1 and 3 business days unless otherwise specified.

Buyer will be responsible for return shipping.

If your item is damaged, please let me know immediately after receiving the item. I insure the majority of my items, so I will need to submit a Claim via USPS. FostandLound will take care of the claim, so no need to worry. After I submit the claim, I will need the buyer to hold on to the damaged item with the original packaging until the claim is processed. NOTE: You may need to bring it to your local USPS to show proof of the goods. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

The majority of my Vintage Clothing has been worn before. I like to consider it previously loved :). I do wash all the vintage clothing; however, sometimes some clothing might have a 'musty' smell to them. Make sure you wash this yourself once you receive your vintage clothing.

Please direct message me if you're interested in an item and I will promptly get back to you with a shipping quote :). For international buyers, it will be delivered within 6-10 business days, if not longer. If you are an international buyer and require faster shipping, please contact me and I will set you up with an International Priority Shipping Quote.

For those buying multiple orders from FostandLound, please contact me so I can get a custom shipping quote made for your purchase! (Both USA and International buyers)

For those of you who want to request an item on reserve, I will hold the item for 48 hours from the time I have received, read and responded to your message about placing the item on reserve.
Refunds and Exchanges
Please contact me within 3 days of receiving your purchase if there's a problem so I can work with you to resolve the issue. I strive to photograph my items and describe as accurately as possible.

Although I am not an expert on vintage items, I try to do as much research as possible on items I offer in my shop. I try to describe my items to the best of my knowledge, but we are all human. If an item is not represented properly, I will be more than happy to do a refund. Buyers will be responsible for return shipping.

The vintage clothing I offer is in "as is" condition. Along with my vintage pieces I try to describe and photograph the clothing to my greatest ability possible to bring out the true color and quality. I try to note every and all imperfections both in the images and in the description.

If there are any questions about any items you have in my shop, please don't hesitate to contact me!
Additional policies and FAQs
If you want something I do not offer, I would love to locate it for you! I am going to flea markets and auctions 3-4 days a week, and I could most likely find it for you easily.
