The Hair Garden was established in 2009 when I decided to share my hair care research, services and products with the world. I have been wearing my hair chemical free for 16 years now and provide support and information for those who want to do the same!

I have always focused on natural hair care and had clients who were transitioning to natural hair and natural styles for various reason. Increasing numbers of them were coming to me with different hair issues so I began investing a lot of time researching all types of scalp ailments and creating my products. I wanted to improve the health of their hair as well as style it!

Most importantly, I had clients who were re-growing their hair after losing it due to chemo treatments, medications, stress, illness and all types of other reasons that can lead of certain types of alopecia. For those very reasons, there are ingredients that I did not want my clients exposed to and there were some that I definitely wanted to introduce to their hair regimen. I knew that due to the delicate state their hair follicles were in, they needed something to make grooming and styling much easier.
