Hi There, thank you for your interest in my one-of-a-kind, designed and produced ceramic items and my daughter's original paintings.

I have been an art teacher for the past 15 years and have recently created Hairy Potter Studio" to facilitate a burning desire to design and create high quality pottery items.
I give

Additional policies and FAQs
Currently, custom or wholesale orders are NOT accepted. "The Hairy Potter Studio" wants all of it's customer clientele to be happy with their respective purchases. However, IF for any reason you are NOT fully satisfied with your purchase, return it within 3 days after receipt, unbroken, in the original shipping container for a prompt refund (not including shipping costs) less a 15% handling charge.

As noted above, The Hairy Potter Studio designs and produces original, "one-of-a-kind", hand made ceramic and pottery artwork.

The materials and processes used in producing these "one of a kind" items will generally consist of Amaco Earthenware Versa white or red clay (wheel or slab formed) and either food safe ceramic glazes (lead free and safe for use as a food or drink container) or non-food safe glazes (not safe for use as a food or drink container) will be used, followed by two "firings" in a high temperature kiln, the first to cure and harden the wheel or slab formed clay article, and the second to "fire" the particular food safe or non-food safe glaze being used.

Ceramic and pottery glazes when applied and "fired" (regardless of whether they are food safe or non-food safe for use as a food or drink container) will NEVER produce the same texturizing or colorization effects each time a specific glaze is repetitively used. Hence the reason why each ceramic and pottery item produced by The Hairy Potter Studio is stated as being a "one-of-a kind" piece of artwork (the same glazing results cannot successfully be achieved each time an article is made or duplication is attempted).

During the process of digital photography, any and all ceramic and pottery creations that are to be displayed on Hairy Potter's web site at Esty, will be treated with extreme caution to insure that preservation of the "actual" texturizing and colorization of each piece of artwork created is maintained (minimal color enhancement is applied to the final photograph before it is uploaded to Etsy). However, visitors and potential purchasers of any Hairy Potter displayed item for sale are advised that due to differences in graphic video display cards, monitor display settings for color, hue, contrast, brightness and focus, between the computer equipment the photograph was created on versus that on which is being viewed, may not produce the same intended results.
Thus, the Hairy Potter Studio cannot guarantee that any purchased item will be identical in texturizing and colorization by comparison to it's photographed representation.

As a safety precaution, Hair Potter Regular Tart Warmers as well as their 2-piece Electric Tart Warmers should "NOT" be operated for more than eight (8) hours at a time. Hot Soy Wax can also pose a fire hazard under certain conditions, thus operating Tart Warmers (electrified or tea light candle heated) should "NOT" be left unattended.
Hairy Potter's Floating Oil Candles and Coffee Cup Candles may also pose a hazard "if" accidently tipped over while ignited. These products should also "NOT" be left unattended while operating.

The Hairy Potter Studio, it's owners and management, assume no responsibility for careless use of it's products, or any and all damages which might occur in the purchaser's use of Hairy Potter Coffee Cup Candles, Floating Oil Candles, Regular Tart Warmers using Tea Light Candles or Electric Tart Warmers. Purchasers using these products do so at their own risk.

The Hairy Potter Studio's raw materials, packaging materials, finished products inventory etc., are produced and/or stored in a smoke and objectionable odor free environment. However, "IF" a Buyer has a particular critical sensitivity and/or allergy to any odor, trace chemical residue or materials composition, said Buyer should advise the Hairy Potter Studio via e-mail of such conditions prior to entering an order.
The Hairy Potter Studio will attempt to reasonably safeguard the Buyer's health and well being from any objectionable conditions whenever possible, providing advance notification is provided, but once the Buyer's order has been shipped, the Hairy Potter Studio is powerless to control the ambient environmental conditions the Buyer's shipped package may be subjected to.

The Hairy Potter Studio will always utilize the most cost effective packaging materials available in preparing the Buyer's order for shipment in order to keep shipping costs at a minimum. Unnecessary over sized containers, expensive bubble wrap, polystyrene "popcorn" and/or air filled plastic cushioning materials will "normally" NOT be used.

"The Hairy Potter Studio" Shop Policies are subject to change without notice. The latest Shop Policy revision is dated 30 December 2010.
