I wondered whether my two houserabbits would be interested in this... they usually ignore anything designed for bunnies as they are too busy customising furniture, rugs and other things I have thoughtlessly placed around the house. Irina was very helpful in suggesting the right size, and the donut arrived the next day. It was larger and much better quality than I had hoped for... and the bunnies love it. They cuddle up inside, use it as an assault course, groom it carefully, and stand inside to moongaze. Highly recommended, thank you again :)

As a scientist, Mrs Masha, the founder of the Bibble Bunny and Bird sanctuary and the inventor of the Ugli Donut was educated to think outside the box. This led her to invent Ugli Donuts for the bunnies in her care. She found cat and dog beds to be inadequate and some bunnies will pee in beds with bottoms in them. She had to experiment with materials to make the best beds for a rabbit since they will chew up just about anything. And no one sells beds for disabled animals. It was her beloved tripod bunny Cassie who led her to invent the Ugli Donut.
Which led to more inventions - the Bunny Hugger side by side pillow, the Bun-velope carrier liner, and more. All created to improve rabbits' lives - and zipper, foam and chemical free, made by hand with love in England, unlike beds sold in online pet shops (do you know what is in those beds? they don't really have a list of materials). This shop is listed on the American House Rabbit Society's website as a recommended online retailer, and two of the items are vet recommended here in England.
Since April 2016 Irina, Mrs Masha's friend and sanctuary supporter has taken over the shop and making of the beds, etc. so that Mrs Masha can dedicate more time to running the sanctuary. Irina is a knitter, bunny owner, vegetarian and a huge animal lover. She currently has two rabbits, Vader, who was rescued by Mrs Masha in November 2015 and adopted by Irina in February 2016 and Dora, the french lop, who was brought into the local vet's office as a stray in 2013. Irina first fostered Dora but when no one came through to claim her, permanently adopted her. Irina is also owned by a Timneh African Grey parrot Digby (who is a girl!).
No animals, of course, have been harmed or killed to produce any materials that we use. Man-made stuffing is sourced from UK sources that use recycled polyester fibres. ALL materials are sourced as ethically as possible. Plastic shipping bags are both biodegradable and recycled.

Rabbits are the most abandoned and neglected animal in the UK. Despite many people including myself asking the government to do something to make life better for them, they do nothing. If you want to help my quest in getting them to make a law that will protect them, write to DEFRA (google it) too.

Why do the prices in the shop change if you are outside the UK, sometimes daily? I set my prices in pounds in the shop on my end. The dollar/Euro/etc fluctuates against the pound in value, sometimes, daily. My mark-up is quite low as it takes around 10 hours to make a hand knitted bed and I could, at times, actually lose money if I converted the shop into dollars on my end. We are in England, and my wool/supplies are paid for in pounds.
I started the shop because I gave up working away from home to care for the (then 12, now 23) rabbits in our sanctuary. I need to have an income to support all the vet bills, food, and other items such as housing for new rabbits
Bibble, the Grand Pooh-Pah
Rabbit Awareness Advocate
Bibble wants the UK government to change the law to classify rabbits as pets, just like cats, dogs, and horses have been. There is no real protection for rabbits and they are the most abused animal in the country. Bibble says, that needs to change.
Our precious Henry developed terminal cancer and passed away from this life in 2015.
Inspiration, Special Needs Bunny
Precious tripod bunny, she was the original inspiration for the beds. Beautiful girl, you are missed.
LB is very intelligent and has a massive vocabulary (probably more extensive than many humans'). He tells the bunnies when they are naughty "Bibble is NAUGHTY" and delights in watching Rastamouse on the telly.
Special Needs Spokesbunneh
He was so full of love, I miss my big boy. Hermie lived unloved for 4 1/2 years in a garden before coming to live with us as a pampered house rabbit. He passed away from cancer in April 2013.

I use rigorous packaging to protect all items (I use purpose made strong plastic bags, sometimes double bagged). Sometimes for multiple orders, I pack all items in a secure cardboard box that is taped up, and there is no additional charge for this.
All packing made of recycled materials including Bubble Wrap (except the tape), even the grey plastic bags are 100% recycled materials as well as being biodegradable.
Overall my customers are very happy with delivery times as you can see by my feedback approval rating.
However, things in life do not always go as planned:
Sometimes international delivery can be delayed in that country because of weather (floods, hurricanes, blizzards), geological (volcanoes, earthquakes), or political events, which is out of my control. Also occasionally customs in some countries take longer to process packages, which is also out of my control since I always use the appropriate customs forms when shipping which should make it speedy and smooth, but sometimes one will get an overzealous customs agent who is suspicious even of his own grandmother.
