She found France through antique glasses
My life started in South Africa. I was born in Pretoria and grew up in a wonderful and loving home. My father was a pastor/architect and my mother was an artist. I also have a fantastic brother who took a back seat so I got more attention.
I studied art and became an artist, even though I vowed not to. My mother's creativity sparked me on and I just had a need to make things.
Somewhere along the way, my french man came and stole me away to live in France. It was actually a very rough adjustment for me even though so many 'dream' of living in France.
I did not speak much french and 'African' art was not as popular in France as it was in South Africa so I had to find another way to earn money. Etsy came along at the perfect time and I found myself hunting for small vintage french treasures to sell. It just took off from there and I absolutely love it!
I do miss South Africa everyday and it's flavour runs though my blood but France is slowly wooing me with it's charm.
