I started drawing when I was seven years old. I had a bad accident and was not allowed to have recess and play with my friends for six months. While my friends were at the playground, I would sit in the nurse's office and draw pictures of imaginary cars and maps. After recess, I would show my friends what I was doing while they were outside playing. It was a great way to get on the same page and connect with them.

I “officially” got started and developed my love for, and style of sketching when I was in architecture school. My main subject area is anything architectural—whether it be the energy of a cityscape or simple quirkiness of a worn coastal shack. My sketches are both of real and imaginary buildings and settings.

For me, loose style sketching is about letting your soul drip out through the ink in your pen and ingraining a special moment in the sketchbook of your mind.
