I came about opening this shop in 2009 as an accessory shop, mostly for children and then added scarves in 2011.
My oldest daughter was planning her wedding and I really enjoyed helping her create the decorations. I designed and made all of her accessories and bouquets for that very special day.
Shortly thereafter, I started to offer mostly hair and wedding accessories and decided to branch off and offer my scarves and some children's headbands in my other Etsy shop: Scarf Lady Designs.
I have since joined a celebrity gifting group, the indiExhibit, and have been fortunate enough to have some of my designs worn on the red carpet!
Whether I am designing and creating a special headpiece for a bride or a famous celebrity, I am always excited to be involved in the design and creative process of my work.
I love being surrounded by my pretty vintage and new crystal brooches and beads along with tulle, taffeta, silk and satin and other fun supplies in my new studio.
I really enjoy creating silk flowers with silk dupioni and crystals. I cut each petal by hand and sew them together and then sew beautiful crystals in the centers.
I have gifted many of my handmade flowers and fascinators to celebrities.
My newest adventure is designing and creating custom hats of all kinds.
The Jeweled Crown came along as a result of my love for creating and has evolved into so much more. I consider it an honor to offer my designs on Etsy.
