God has been very gracious to me --- 15 years after a bout with breast cancer I'm still here and alive and something good has come out of that dark time. I know much better the meaning of the word 'gratitude', for one thing. I seem to be much more sensitive to beauty. And I appreciate life so much more, and I realize how many wonderful blessings I have. I'm so glad just to exist :) "The Joyful Eye" is meant as a way to express praise to God as the Creator and Giver of life and of every good and perfect gift.
Everything in my shop is hand made by me. I punch discs out of fine silver sheet with a die cutter; hand stamp letters and designs onto each piece; blacken, polish and texture the stamped disc; and, after punching a hole in exactly the right place, I wire-wrap a sterling silver bail carefully onto each charm.
