What is a digital planner?
A digital planner is an interactive PDF you can use on your iPad or tablet. It contains hyperlinks that allow you to jump to different pages in your planner without having to swipe. It mimics the experience of using a paper planner. It is not an app.
How do I download the digital files onto my device after purchasing on Etsy?
If you are using the digital files on your tablet, the easiest way to do so is to:
• Log into your Etsy account via a web browser like chrome (not the Etsy app) directly on your tablet. (The Etsy app does not support downloads.)
• To access your digital files, go to “You” > “Purchases and Reviews” on Etsy. Click “Download Files” next to your order. You can download the files as many times as you like.
• Once the planner PDF loads on your browser, click the Share icon (a box with an upwards arrow) on the top right corner. Then choose the app you want to open the PDF on.
What apps can I use to view the planner?
iOS PDF annotation apps that work with the digital planners:
- GoodNotes (paid)
- Notability (paid)
- Notes Writer (free)
- Documents by Readdle (free)
For Android: Xodo (free)
The digital planners are interactive PDF documents. You need to have a PDF annotation app that supports hyperlinks and inputting of text / handwriting function.
Can I use the planners on my phone or laptop?
Yes you can! You can annotate the planner PDF by inputting text. However, please note that the products are designed for tablet usage and the viewing experience will be different from what is shown in the product pictures.
Do your planners sync with Google calendar or iCal?
No. The planners mimic the experience of using a paper planner but on an iPad or tablet. You have to manually input your entries either by writing them or typing them in.
Can I sync my planner between my tablet & my phone / my tablet & my laptop?
Yes! You can do this if you have a PDF annotation app installed on both your tablet & your phone / laptop and it supports syncing documents between devices. GoodNotes for iOS and Xodo for Android can do this. You have to enable syncing through the settings on your app.
